Wrapping up my wildlife study of detritivores. This is where I’ve played around for the last 3 days. Very complex topography creates the illusion of a wall of ferns. Slope across the inner gorge is around 85% (it’s really hard to be accurate.)
This study has been a great excuse to crawl beneath the ferns and dig in the leaf litter.
