These are by far the smallest flowers I've photographed this year. Each individual flower is less than 5mm across. The whole plant typically less than 40mm high.
Thyme-leaved speedwell -
Lus-crè - Veronica serpyllifolia
They seem to like a shaded and moist environment as they grow profusely along the banks of the burn which serves as our water supply.
I really like them, but you can only really appreciate them in a macro photo.
