First Putin, now Palantir:
Walter Smerlings new show Dimensions in Leipzig opens tomorrow assembling dozens of media artists to advertise and art wash a spy company that German police is legally barred from using for violation of privacy rights (in several federal states). Palantir, the shows main sponsor, has other clients in Germany though, f.e. local rightwing media conglomerate Springer, that uses it to surveil its users (per their website gain "granular insights into reader behaviour"). Smerlings last show was patroned by Putin, now this one leans into the Peter Thiel network (Thiel founded Palantir) of edgelord data barons and disgraced politicians facing criminal charges (Trump, Sebastian Kurz).
