hubzilla domain adress and Activitypub Protocol

Hello, I have hubzilla installed on a sub domaine on my server yunohost, I have 2 troubles :
- I would like to have a main domain hubzilla adress as I also have social plugin in nextcloud (to use only one hubzilla adress), possible ? How ? somewhere in .htconfig.php inside /var/www/hubzilla ?
- I would like also to follow some contact from mastodon but I didn't find how to do this. Is it possible ?
I don't see Activitypub Protocol in /apps/available (my site is in french).and admin/site/ gives a blank page .
Any help is welcome.

I think you need to activate it from the Addon page /admin/addons/ first, before you can see it on your app page.

Can someone confirm this?

I've read somewhere that only plain text posts gets shown from Mastodon because it can't show rich text with formatting and graphics. But in my channel's case, no posts are shown. If I search for @adnan360@freehub.space it shows my profile, but I can see no post. Not even the ones which has no formatting.

I have Activitypub addon enabled.

Sorry for posting on this thread. Maybe I should post another later. But if it's something simple, please let me know.

I don't have proposition of activitypub protocol app
and https://hub.elemac.fr/admin/addons/pubcrawl gives a blank page...

@Adnan Shameem https://freehub.space/siteinfo looks OK and if @Adnan Shameem gets found by mastodon - you should also resive messangers, also with graphics.
does it work the other way around from HZ to mastodon ?

I see plugin pubcrawl in filezilla but I can't access to admin area to activate.

@Anmol Sharma There was no Update button showing anywhere.

So, I've removed the Activitypub addon, then Install button came in. I clicked it. Then an "Update" button appeared. Clicked it as well. Now latest posts appear on Mastodon. Thanks, I think it worked.

but addons must also be enabled also for each channel under /apps/available

@Yvan Quéhec You need database access to find out. The problem can be that on Yunohost you use LDAP user and it is not admin.
Consider this:

For Admin account there is a note in the readme:

When installation is complete, you will need to visit your new hub and login with the admin account you specified in the app installation form. You should then be able create your first channel and have the admin rights to the hub. For normal YunoHost users:You can login through Ldap authentication and create the channel accourding to the hub settings. For admin:If you don’t see the admin rights in your nav bar drop down menu or want to grant admin rights for any other user on the hub then you have to manually add 4096 to the account_roles for that account in the database through phpMYAdmin.

Find Hubzilla DB table account and column account_roles and check if it is higher than 4096 and if not add 4094.

THANKS ! changed role of admin and I see now the admin option (they where all to 0) !
Any way to change the defaut domain adress ?because I have 2 different with social nextcloud and hubzilla

as I installed hubzilla in https://hub.elemac.fr all the members have ----@hub.elemac.fr as hubzilla adress but I also have social in nextcloud witch is in a folder, so adresses are ----@elemac.fr I would like to have only @elemac.fr, possible ?
I have the same problem with kanboard...

I believe that it could be doable. Have a look at the admin section and / or .htconfig and change the BaseURL there. Reconfigure the webserver, have the new DNS entry to the new domain ready.
I do not remember if I have done that at one point, or not. I remember vaguely that many years ago all item entries had been rewritten to survive that.
Cannot dry-run right now, but if you don't have much to lose, you may feel adventurous.

In any case I recommend either downloading your channel's basic data via the channel backup app. Or create a clone at another hub.
The minimalist backup is the json file with your basic channel data: keys, certificates, connections, ACL, configuration ... which means you will not lose your basic connections and channel configs if you are not successful.

Caveat: cloning only works for non-zot protocols and channels. For those you will need to actively reconnect.

I discover little by little hubzilla (trying to quit GAFAM...) any way to see posts (toots) from contacts directly in hubzilla or have to clic on their profile mastodon

@Yvan Quéhec I manged to install HZ and synapse under one domain., but not sure if this works also for HZ and Nextcloud- actually i doubt it. So you could try https://elemac.fr/nextcloud and https://elemac.fr/hubzilla

If I recall, hubzilla has to be at the top level, so you can't put it at https://elemac.fr/hubzilla. Maybe this has changed?

I assume its not possible in any of the Fediverse network. Please tell me if its possible on other network.

You have very special case. But if one has domain then why use sub path. Its always cool to have myhub.yourname.usa/channel/channelname rather than yourname.usa/myhub/channel/channelname.
