In february, we started building a new wooden structure. Last year we collected some reused material, as you maybe know, the architectural approach we research on is using local renewable resources, this is mostly dry pine trees, another part of material is reusing what would be urban waste - wood from exhibitions, theatre constructions or what are people giving out for free, like my favourite windows (for some time already six double glass windows are prepared). Here would belong also transportation euro paletes for walls which will be bought reused. Third part is new wood which is needed for what would be difficult or impossible to supply reused with same sizes or local, screws, paint etc. These parts can be roughly 30 percent each and with this building the new wood will be even less, only 20% maybe.
Of course the inspiration for the building is Science house, one of the houses build experimentally in Black Mountain college.
