In my mind I never imagine beach's in Eastern Europe. I must be just exposed to some images but not others, I kind of feel like an ignorant dumb arse for not even thinking about it.
I looked up Sozopol and your temperatures are better then where I live. Our average summer temperature is 18 degrees although winter is 5 degrees.

It's okay that you don't know something, it's good that you're interested. Yes, it is warm in Sozopol, but Bulgaria is a poor country, because their government refused to build the Russian nuclear plant and the Russian gas stream, so now they have to turn off all the outside lights in all the settlements of the country at 10 pm and save energy in every way.

We never hear these things in new zealand. It is the little details that get missed.
Did they not want gas because they are against Russia or was it pressure from the EU?
