If you see any outdated instance (Mastodon 4.1.x below 4.1.3
Mastodon 4.0.x where it's below 4.0.5, or Mastodon 3.5.x and it's below 3.5.9) and you have any way of directly contacting the admins, let them know there have been important security updates. They've fixed a particularly bad vulnerability that was found in pen testing.
The vulnerability is now widely known about, so it's really important admins get themselves protected.
