Nienke Terpsma and I dissect a European policy document that frames artistic research within “enterprise Research & Development”, “creation of intellectual property”, “building links with business and enterprise” and defines it as being “validated through peer review” and “independent, international QA bodies” with the “opportunity for harvesting research data and statistics from the AR [artistic research] field”.
